Until you buy the book. Use the Atkins site.

Cheers!

most people who have addicitions to (sugar) sweets, really need to eliminate all sweetness, including artificial sweeteners.

the first two weeks, (Induction) you really need to eat "clean" and "natural" foods. no prepackaged stuff, artificial sweetened foods/drinks

use these two weeks to break your addictions - whatever they may be.

so, correct, no diet pop.

I have found that I have completely lost my desire to have them all together... i maybe have one can every 1-2 months.

I have been able to pretty much give up ALL diet sodas since I've been drinking green tea with say...............a squirt of lime juice and a packet of splenda. And green tea will help you lose the weight!!!! when I DO have an occasional soda, I try to have Diet Rite which is sweetened with splenda and NOT aspertame. I prolly have one every 3-4 weeks now. And I was a die-hard coke fiend.

I would stick with water personally and tea. When i eat low carb i try to put in less chemicals into my body and pop is filled with chemicals. I rarely get a craving for them aslo. Good Luck!

after researching aspartame, i wouldn't suggest anybody drink any diet soda that uses it. it's bad news. but if you must drink diet soda, i'd wait till your on OWL.
