Default Water question

Does it matter if you drink most of your water at one sitting or is it better to space it out during the entire day. Does it make a difference?

Thanks

as with ANYTHING it would be better to give your body what it needs DURING the day... not all at once..

You should NOT drink your water all at one sitting. (For lots of us, that's nearly a gallon.) Drinking all your water at once can upset your fluid/elctrolyte balance, so drink throughout the day, not all at one time.

Hello!

I have a routine that helps me ensure that I get all my water in for the day. First thing when I get up I have a glass of water. When I get to work I keep a 500ml bottle at my desk, just a re-washed water bottle from the convenience store. I make sure to drink 2 bottles before lunch and then 2 bottles in the afternoon before going home. sometimes I find myself chugging the last bottle before I leave for lunch or home, but I get in all in! That's your recommended intake, 2 liters, before you even have dinner! Everyother glass you drink is bonus!

Change your bottle every week- even with washing I find mine gets funky if it sits over the weekend. There was also a study somewhere, wish I had the link, that said something about plastic water bottles breaking down after being washed a lot of times and releasing chemicals into what ever you refilled the bottle with. The report said tupperware was safe, gladware was not, different kind of plastic that is meant to be disposable... I'll have to find the link...
