Default Adding Meals in Fitday

I use Fitday to track track of what I eat. However, as I become more accustomed to my new way of eating I have started experimenting more and there are a few dishes which I like to cook over and over. Is there any way that I can include these as meals on Fitday rather than have to input the seperate ingredients over and over again?

sure - just create a custom food using the ingredients. Go to a blank day in fitday, say tomorrow's date and enetr all teh foods then copy the totals and plug them in to your custom food.

Ahh excellent. although it is kind of a roundabout cheat! It eould be nice if Fitday allowed you to enter meals rather than one food item.

But thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the shortcut, Rob! I've been doing a lot of arithmetic.

Doesn't the locally installed version (i.e., not free) of Fitday have a recipe calculator? If not, you might want to test drive the free trial version of DietPower (www.dietpower.com). There's a 15-day free trial, then you can request an additional 15 days.

Besides food and exercise tracking. DP has a great recipe calculator. It's locally installed, so it's much faster than the online version of Fitday. It can track up to 9 people, and it has an export function that allows you to sync the data between two different computers.

You can do the same function on the fitday pc version. Just go to a *blank* page, enter all your ingredients, divide by the number of servings, then enter you single size serving under *custom foods* and it is saved in the program. Easy-breezy
