Default Taco Bell

Hey everyone.

I drove through Taco Bell today for lunch and ordered the meal deal with three crunchy tacos supreme and instead of a soda, I asked for a bottled water. I scooped all the stuff out of the taco shells into a plastic bowl (which they provided when I asked them for it along with a plastic fork), threw some hot sauce over it, and mixed it all together. It was really REALLY good.

Everything in there seemed Atkins friendly. Just wanted to run it by you guys. All it was was meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, hot sauce, and cheese.

I just want to be sure Taco Bell doesn't add anything to their meat seasoning that wouldn't make it Atkins friendly because this lunch treat sounds too good to be true.

Does anyone know?

Try the Taco Bell Nutrition Guide for the answer. I'm thinking there is probably hidden sweetners and some sort of starch in the seasoning.

Wonderful nutrition guide. I was able to remove the tortilla to see what it truly is. Three of those tacos without the tortilla ended up being 15 carbs (5 ea). Thank you!!

Oh we had tacos tonight and I ate my sans the tortilla. Before we moved here we had a taco bell in Target and they had an express salad and it was like the big taco salad but in a bowl. It was yummy

That's one good thing the fast food places are doing now. Putting the nutritional information on the web and letting you pick and choose your ingredients. BK also does that where you can remove the bun and add and delete. I wish Micki D's would let you remove the bun for that info but maybe some day. I live three blocks from the taco bell but never really did visit it that often but another thing I found I liked was the burrito bowl without the rice and beans. Pretty good.
