Default Starting today after a few years binge

I'm hitting the scales at 164 this morning after having been 130 for a few years. I am eating a paleo diet plan, having read most of the lc books and deciding, with drs. assistance, that this is the best plan for me. I'm excited to start over and have the slate of past dietary life clean. My goal for today is to make it thru the midnight showing of Star Wars with no movie snack foods!

Welcome, Madison! I also don't know about paleo, but now you have peaked my curiosity and I will look into it just to know. This is a great forum for questions, comments, ranting, etc. Make yourself at home and good luck with your new way of eating!

Hi Madison and welcome!

I've thought about switching to paleo during the summer when all that good fruit is everywhere. We have this amazing orchard on a nearby mountain that has the best peaches and apples I've ever tasted, and watermelons sold on the roadside that are to die for! Figs from my own tree... ok, I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

Nice to meet you. Hope to see you around.
