Talking 'noob sayin' HI!

Hey all!

Today (5/26) I begin my low-carb journey. I'm beginning with Atkins (I bought the book) and the inspiration of George Stella.

I feel that we must tackle the food issues and specifically the CARB issues as we would an addiction. Because essentially that's what overeating is; an addiction to a pleasurable experience. 'Comfort food' is/was my downfall.

I will no longer be a prisoner of my own creation. I will no longer fail. I will control my future, starting here, NOW.

Glad I found this place. I'm sure I'll need help sooner or later!

Thanks for having me!

Jason

WELCOME JASON!
You are so right & you sound totally committed. Now READ, READ, READ 'cuz "knowledge is power" with this way of eating.
Keep posting, too, and let us know how you're doing!
Best wishes,

Welcome, Jason!

You've got the right attitude and the right book. This is a great place to get inspiration and support. Also a great place to keep on reading while you try and find your motivation (that would be something I am currently doing).

Good luck and good eating!
