I asked the same question when I first started. It's whipping cream.

I use it unwhipped on my strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, sugar free jello....... you name it .... However..... word of caution.... in excess, it will, for the most part, cause you to stall. It is laddened with calories, and if you read the label carefully, the carb count is for like a tablespoon or so. However, in the right serving size, makes a delightful treat!

heavy cream--use your egg beater and put it on high and beat the tar out of the cream til it forms stiff peaks...add to it...a couple of packets of splenda, some cocoa, a couple of strawberries...whatever...it is awesome on top of all kinds of berries, topping on hot cocoa (sugar free of course), add a package of cream cheese, a Tablespoon or two of cocoa and about 3 Tablespoons of splenda and you have a yummy treat that will cure any chocolate craving! I do that often...it comes out the consistency of a mousse when I am finished...I also add about a teaspoon of unflavored gelatin if I plan on keeping the whipped cream around in the fridge for more than a day or two...it keeps it from getting watery and stays firm--more like cool whip that way.
