| Hi all, I need some advice so that I am prepared. I have been displaying symptoms of hypoglacemia for a few years now but they seem to be getting worse. I would like to get some tests done. Are there any specific tests that I should ask for seeing as I am already going to be going to the doctors?

| I'd be after a 3 or 5 hour glucose tolerance test with insulin levels. That would certainly give you the clearest and most comprensive picture of your glucose metabolism. Do check with your doctor, since you usually need to eat a "regular" high carb diet for a couple of days prior to the test or the results will be skewed. Other things which come to mind are a complete lipid profile and c-reactive protein test. Those are the first ones which come to mind.
