I 'm taking birth controls pills & at the same tine I'm doing atkins,
will the birth control pills have any affect to slow weight loss . I need to know because I 'm doing atkins right (induction phase (less than 20G of carb a day ) and in two weeks I lost only 6 pounds.

The words "only 6 pounds" don't seem to go together. A lot of peopel think that the Atkins nutritional approach is a quick fix to lose weight - guess what - it's not!

6 pounds is great, keep up the good work.

I too am taking the pill and doing Atkins and do not notice a difference from the last time I did low-carb and was not my weight loss is still in line, and 6 pounds is GREAT! I think sometimes we see posts where people lose quite a bit during induction while others lose a little less a lot of that is dependant on the amount of weight you need to lose overall...keep up the good work you are doing GREAT!
