Hello folks, nice to see so many familiar names as I scan the forums. I'm returning to improve my eating. I've been away for awhile, and retained many good eating habits - but have fallen too far from the LC tree.

So I began Induction and Fitday tracking, and hope to return to a healthy WOE to make me feel a little better on a day-to-day basis. I'll be skulking around here on the board, upgrading my knowlege and reinforcing good practices...once again feeding off the enthusiasm of others!

Hi Mort! Welcome back. Nice to see you haven't gained all that much weight back. I remember how funny some of your posts used to be but mostly i remember learning a lot from your serious posts when I first joined LCE.

hello mort.

when you talk about falling "too far from the lc tree", i got a mental image of all of us as low-carb nuts on the low-carb tree.

*snicker.*

anyway welcome!

Thanks teammates! I appreciate the support.

Our office area has 4 of us "re-dedicating" ourselves to LC. One of them is giving up her vegetarian regimen of the last 8 months or so: she never seemed to feel very good on it, gained a good bit of weight, and just didn't enjoy it overall. It didn't take much coaxing (i.e., she was ready) to remind her of how much better she felt doing LC. So, we are all doing it together - which is helpful.

After Induction, I can partake of that yummy Splenda Coke again! (Ya know, Rum & Diet Coke simply was not a great alternative).
