| I lost 8 kg on induction, and each month I lose about 6 kg.I am very happy with my loss(26,5kg in 4months), my blood work is great, and i feel mostly great too:jump: I must say that I did not give up coffie, but I do have headaches (i am saying this cuz people say that headaches are result of coffeine withdrawal, so its not the case with me) when i am losing most. They r not too bad, but since i never had those before i went to doctor to check myself, nothing is wrong, but he did say that he has cases of people having mild headaches on this diet even though they did not stop drinking coffie. I just wondered if anyone else has this expirience? ps. i drink 3litars of water and eat lots of veggies and i dont eat any of low carb treats

| I suffer from migraines related to my hormonal cycle. I did have bad headaches during induction, but since then, even my monthly migraines seem not quite so bad. Sorry I am no help to you. Hope yours get better soon...I know how frustrating it is to have alot of headaches.

| mm. have you tried a good multi vitamin/mineral supplement? Might help? On the other hand, it could be a food intolerance, perhaps. What are you eating more of that you weren't before? (protein itself is rarely the problem - though some are allergic to protein, it is VERY rare) Think about sauces, spices, more dairy (cheese?), veggies you didn't eat before... etc. |

| Up until this weight loss round - I had really bad headaches just ALL the time. Everytime I lost weight - head ached. But NOW I find sufficient water stops them. As soon as I stepped up my water intake headaches went for good. |

| I had a headache for over 2 years. I saw several doctors, including two neurologists who said that headaches were the most pervasive ailment that brings people to the doctor -- they have thousands of potential causes. Frequently, it's hormonal, or related to specific foods or spices or other exposures (i.e., fragrances used in cosmetics and household cleaners), food additives, or seasonal alergies. A friend of my gets migraines from the additives they put in inexpensive chocolate. He's fine if he eats high quality chocolate, but miserable from chocolate flavorings. As you note, headache is a common symptom of dehydration. It's also a symptom of constipation for some people. I tried eliminating many common food triggers like chocolate, cheese, colas, creamers, certain spices, alternative sweetners, etc.; but no joy. One of my doctors said finding a food or fragrence trigger is like finding a needle in a haystack. Headaches can also be related to posture, sleeping habits, vision problems - the list goes on and on and on. Just a thought... if your best weight loss periods follow your monthly cycle, it could be hormonal rather than related to diet. My headache (it was a form of migraine, though not as painful as many migraines) finally cleared up when I was further along the menopausal process. I still get headaches, but I cannot link them to weight loss or diet. You might want to try keeping a food diary and noting when headaches occur. You may spot a pattern.

| Thanks guys for all ur answers. Well, i never had headaches before this diet unless I was sick with fever. I take my vitamins and minerals, i have at least 3 litars of water a day and i think i eat healthy, i eat veggies, and those i ate before. My alergies are always shown on skin, so i did tests before and i know what i am alergic on. BUT, what i definetly noticed in my journal (i keep everything written down), first 3 day i start losing fast (and when i say fast, i mean FAST, like a half a kilo a day), i have headache, then it disappears(and my losing slows down eventually)! Its same every month, after my cycle (i tend to eat more during cycle, so I stall until is finished). So, after those 3 days, most of the time i am headache free. I was concerned that i am losing too fast, so i posted my menu on newbies forum tread"am i losing too fast", and u guys all agreed i do eat well-i just have good metabolism. Well, even if its a diet advantages are far greater, then 3 days of headaches..just wondered if anyone had something similar
