Default I'm back...and ready to roll.

Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I first started low carb in May 2003 and got within 10 pounds of my goal weight by September 2003. Maintained that weight until Feb 2004 when I blipped up five pounds. Kept that weight until, oh about 6 months ago, when my weigth began creeping up. Upshot - I am only 15 punds from my LCE start weight. So. I am back. I refuse to buy a new winter wardrobe because my butt is too big for may pants, etc. day two of induction and I am doing OK (husband made lunch today and inlcuded one piece of low carb toast inthe salad, what was he thinking? At least he cooks). Why did I start gaining weight? 1) carb creep. A little bite here, a little bite there, a couple of meals where I said "Oh, what the heck, this can't hurt me," a glass or two of wine at night after a rought day at the office. You get the picture. 2) I gave up on exercise. I got too busy at work (I thought I was going to stroke out, I was that busy/stressed), and didn't take the time to take care of me. No biking, no running, no weights. And so, I slowly started feeling like crap which led to that blase attitutude that it just didn't matter. Wrong.

So, I recommitt to this WOE, and getting exercise every day.

Sure do remember you Jestey (Jennifer)! Welcome back. I wonder if it means anything that this was your 1000th post. Sounds like an omen of good luck to me.

Hey, gang! Thanks for the welcome. Rob, I didn't even notice that that was my 1000th post. You're right, it must have been a sign! I am one of those daily weighers (have never been able to break the habit) and I am down 3 this week already!
