| Spinach is high in potassium. I take potassium supplements each day for leg cramps, as well as calcium. There's a useful site here which lists other foods high in potassium. Hope this helps.

| Thanks April - It does help. Can you tell me what the maximum amount of Potassium and Calcium I should take in one day? How many milligrams I mean, I dont want to get the wrong thing Scott |

| This site explicates how much potassium to take. And this site talks about how much calcium to take. I buy calcium and potassium -- generic form -- at my local Sam's Club or Kroger's -- whichever one happens to be on sale at the time. When I get home, I'll look and see in what increments I take each. I can't recall at the moment because my coffee hasn't kicked in yet here at work.

| The one site says to take 2000 milligrams of potassium a day - What happens if I eat foods that are high in potassium, do I still take 2000 milligrams or do I take less? Scott |

| You may wanna discuss that with your doctor but, personally, I take less -- 90mg -- because I do eat foods high in potassium.

| and what is the average amount for Calcium? I eat a lot of leavy veggies including spinach, salad, and I also eat a lot of beef and chicken which have potassium in them too.... What does the vitamin E do for you? Thanks |

| Scott, I used to be bothered by night leg cramps. Once I started taking a calcium supplement of 1,000 mg a day, the leg cramps went away. Henry |

| I do try to eat food with calcium as well. However, a 1,000 mg supplement is not a lot. That amount basically ensures that I get the recommended minimum daily amount. |
