Hi, and welcome!

I think if you are not in the Induction phase, and are aleady in one of the later phases of Ongoing Weight Loss, it may be okay to have an LC beer or two on the weekend. If you've just started OWL, check the DANR so see what foods are recommended to add back first. There's a specific order for adding LC foods to your OWL plan - beer is probably further down the list.

It's definitely one of those YMMV things - works for some people but messes up others. Just try to be aware about noticing if the beer awakens food cravings or stalled weight loss or if it weakens your resistance to temptation. My $.02 - I wouldn't think it was a good idea to have the Michelob as a daily thing, even if it's within your carb allowance.

Do you have a fridge & oven available? If so, have you considered marinating your chicken in beer? I don't ever drink, but I love the taste of red wine and beer as a marinade!!
