I am very lactose intolerant. I don't remember how I got through Atkins the last time without eating so much cheese. I had surgery in June this year and my body definitely isn't tolerating the cheese as well as before. I was quite ill all weekend from eating cheese. The gas, bloating, cramping and back pain was severe. I finally had to take magnesium sitrate to relieve the symptoms.
I know that cheese is a big part of a lot of recipes b/c it definitely adds flavor. Any suggestions?

. I will definitely look for the soy cheese. If it's anything like the milk it will definitely be worth the effort to cut back on carbs come place else.
