I would go with straight fiber like psyllium husks (generic metamucil) - and you can get some good buggies from your kefir. I'm not sure what herbs are in your potion, but with a name like super colon cleanse, my guess is that some of them have laxative/stimulant qualities.

NOT what you need at the moment, it seems.

Nope. But I'm going directly to my Buy&Hold account to see about that stock purchase.

AR, see if that colon cleanse sup has Cascara Sagrada, Buckthorn or Senna in it. If it does, those are all large intestine stimulants, which stimulate the parastaltic (waving) action. Also I would suspect it contains psyllium, the most commonly used soluble fiber material that is put into most colon cleansing formulas. I personally find it odd that they would include a probiotic in WITH a colon cleanse product. If I do a colon cleanse concoction, I NEVER do a probiotic with it, since the psyllium acts as a sponge, soaking up any other supplements you might be taking. I always do my psyllium type stuff at least an hour before consuming anything else OR 2 hours afterward. (It's a balancing act.)

I prefer to take my psyllium separate, mixing it with bottled Crystal Lite. I also add hydrated bentonite (soaks up toxins) and liquid chlorophyll(deoderizes). I slug that down before the psyllium gels, then I will pop two herbal laxative (mostly Cascara Sagrada) and drink a full 8 oz. of water afterward. 12 hours later, I'm good to go, literally!!!!!! This concoction actually fills me up, so I can wait an hour or two to eat afterward. Then if I am really needing to clean out, I do it again at night just before bed (an hour of so, so my body can get rid of the water I drank with it.) I don't take any other suppliments at the same time.
