It works really, really well for some people. I tried it, and ended up never getting rid of the cravings.

Since the point was that you have a salad and then equal portions protein, LC veggie, and "reward food" at your reward meal every day... I found myself seriously overeating so that I could have more of the reward food. I don't have good hunger/satiation triggers so it was not very workable for me.

That said, there are a LOT of people who find that this works really well for them.

Back in 1992 I did the old Carb Addicts Diet and lost 17 pounds. It came off very slowly (0.5 pounds/week) but without me feeling deprived. It is much more restrictive for the two non-reward meals and if you can handle it the reward meal was like a free for all. If like Felonee said if you have issues with knowing when you are full then it is not a plan for you.

I don't know MUCH about it, but I do know this one wouldn't work for me. I lose so slowly as it is, it would be counter productive. I just don't handle things like rice, potatoes, bread and all that jazz, very well. I know from personal experience that if I do have "naughty" stuff, my craving meter goes off the charts.

BTW, Libby, it's GREAT to see you back on the boards!!!!!! (I see you are now in Canada!!! WOW)
