I will be having salad and about half of a Costco Rottiserri (sp) chicken. Stopping there on the way home tonight to shop. Well there goes an easy $400.

Yum! Yum! I already had supper, homemade soup made from homemade chicken stock, with onions, tomatoes, rutabagas and mushrooms, and leftover grilled meat.

My next meal will be breakfast, most probably a 1-minute muffin, maybe with a few blueberries. And perhaps a sausage patty. Decaf coffe with cream.

I just got back from dinner. I had steak, green beans, mushrooms, and a green salad with cheese, olives, and ranch dressing. It was great!

My next meal will probably be a sausage patty.

I'm working from home tomorrow, so I'll probably have some scrambled egg and a lc corn muffin (defrosted and toasted with lots of butter) and more coffee than usual.

I'm gonna try to take the time to use the rest of the spinach in an omelet for breakfast in the morning. I'll have an apple and some green tea with it.

I am not very good with apples, I only have half now and then but I don't lose if I eat apples.

I haven't tried apples yet. Maybe my son will give me a couple of pieces of one of his later on today. I did try 1/2 a pear several weeks ago and I was okay with that

I buy the really small yellow apples at Kroger. I think the carb count is like 17 each minus 3 or 4 grams of fiber. My key to eating apples is: NEVER EAT THEM ALONE. I usually have one after breakfast. Or after lunch. Never in the evening unless it's in fruit salad AFTER dinner.

I have been known to eat one on the way home from work....only because I am really hungry. The apple curbs my appetite enough so that it's worth the carbs...if I didn't have it, I would be so ravenous by the time I ate dinner, I'd have eaten more carbs than that. Most of the time, I just drink a bottle of water on the way home.

Fruit is just another one of those YMMV things.

I have a horrible time with strawberries, but I think it's mainly portion control... I thought half an apple would be a lot easier to control... I like them, but they aren't my absolute favorite and I thought an apple with a teaspoon of peanut butter or a small piece of cheese would make a wonderful dessert one night.

I did the half pear with some caramel DaVincis and nuked it for about 30 seconds (basically poached it in the syrup) and it was the most divine thing. Luckily Austin ate all the pears in about 2 days so they were very quickly out of the house.

My next meal will be breakfast so it will be a no crust quiche with bacon, egg, feta cheese, brocolli and a touch of onion.I can't wait I may also have a half a avocado as I can't seem to go a day without one at the moment.......I never used to eat apples at all before starting this woe but I have started having one now and again when I feel like something sweet. I think it is a much better option than a biscuit etc.
