Default Celebration!

It's one month into the year and I am still on plan. That alone is cause for celebration. Today I treated myself to BBQ pork rinds and diet root beer with heavy cream in it. I was so happy! I'd tried the Atkins shakes and it tasted too chalky for my taste, but diet rb and hc was like a root beer float (especially after so long without sugar)

I know I haven't been perfect, (I don't know anyone who is), but I've been good and I'm still commited to this WOE for the next five months. (That was the timeline I gave myself) At that point, I may continue and turn it into a WOL, but regardless, I will always retain some of the basic principals of the low-carb lifestyle. And hopefully, I'll keep exercising too!

Good for you, spride.

I'm glad you chose a reasonable time line to see how this way of eating works for you. Those little legal treats every now and then are very helpful for many folks. I certainly enjoy them.

Diet crush is made with splenda! I've never seen any root beer made with splenda though. I can't have anything with aspertame. If I do, you've lost me for 2 days with a migraine!
