    Default Sugar Free Gum

Well we got onto to new 'hot' gums for a few days. That's until I finally looked and realized that each piece represented a carb. Almost blew us out of Ketosys. Now it's hard getting the strips up to the middle rating again.

In the meantime we're still staying the same weight (which is better than gaining, I suppose).

were there sugar alcohols in it? that could be the staller for you. I don't have a problem with sugar alcohols,as far as gum atleast, but I know that others do.

I've had LOTS of experience with sugar free gum the past two months because I quit smoking and started Atkins at the same time. The sugar alcohols are subtracted from the total carbs, which in most cases makes the gum zero carb - but the sugar alcohols affect some people differently than others. Now that I'm past the worst of the stopping smoking (going on 3 months now) and am tapering off my newly acquired gum habit, I've noticed I'm losing weight again. That's just for me. For some people it may not be a problem. As with everything else, your mileage may vary.
