Interestingly enough, I had a few girls ask me how I lost my weight and I told them exactly how. Low carbing. One girl said, oh that is so dangerous. But then I said what people on this board have recommended others to do. I said read the book (DANDR). I went on about how it can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol. I said personally for me it has helped me with my low blood sugar. And it's not all meat and cheese, you have to eat veggies too. How can that be dangerous?

The girl who said it was so dangerous actually is a very nice girl who has lost almost 60 pounds and has 10 to 20 pounds to go. She used to be 260. I told her I used to do what she is doing now (counting calories and working out like a madwoman- I am very proud of her for that), but then I got desperate to lose more weight and decided to try low carbing, read the book and managed to lose 8 more pounds and I only have 10 to 12 more pounds to go. Today, she saw that I had a box of ginger tea (that a coworker gave me to try) and said she wanted to try it too. She beat me to the label reading and noticed how many carbs there were. She gave it back to me and said "no way, I am not drinking something with that many carbs". I liked that!
