| Actually some people prompted me to do so. They remarked that I drink so much water. 180 ounces of water! I read some people trying to drink 100 ounces a day. Actually, a couple times I felt thirsty too. |

| Athena, While I am usually one of the first ones to tell people to get in all their water (in fact, I harp on it frequently!) and was once jokingly referred to as the "Water Nazi" of the board I feel I must caution against what you are doing. There IS such a thing as TOO MUCH WATER! Water toxicity is a real, medical condition and while it is VERY RARE and can only be achieved under certain circumstances, I feel we would be remiss if we did not warn you to be careful. Truthfully, I think a gallon a day (128 oz) is PLENTY for anyone to drink. I drink that much every day and it has helped me tremendously. ![]() But there IS the possibility of too much of a good thing! And water toxicity is a VERY, VERY BAD THING. If you are experiencing that kind of thirst -- even after drinking 180 oz -- I think you need to see your doctor. That kind of unquenchable thirst can be indicative of other medical problems going on... :( One more thing: How tall are you and how much do you weigh (a weight range is fine if you don't feel comfortable stating your exact weight)? Best wishes from the water queen herself,
