| Welcome. From your post it is not clear what low carb plan you are attempting to follow. If you have not selected a specific plan, I suggest that you look at the various plans, such as Atkins, South Beach, etc, to find the one that you think you can best follow. That means doing some research. However, if you are to make the conversion from the mindset of "its a diet" to "its a lifestyle", you must understand the methodology for success long term and follow it. Goddess can tell you from her personal experience the difference she found when she followed a specific plan than when she did not. Good luck on your journey.

| henry's heard my story a time or two before, huh? i do strongly encourage you to select an actual lc plan, get the book and follow it, which is your best bet for long term success. when i first started low carbing, i just did what i thought was right, based on what people told me and whatever i read here and there. i even borrowed the book briefly, but mostly, i did my own thing. i lasted 2 weeks and lost 12 pounds before i got sick of the whole "diet" think and said forget it. which is ok, but... when i made the commitment to learn what it is really all about, got a copy of the atkins book and read the whole thing, and did my homework, it was much different. that was nov. 2003 and over a hundred pounds ago. taking the time to pick a plan is very important. it's your roadmap to success. and the cost of the accompanying book--maybe 7 bucks?--was the best 7 bucks i've spent in my life. good luck to you! |
