| Hello, I was wondering if any would share their experience with erythritol? I know that other sugar alcohols can cause bowel upsets and stalls ( gains even?) But reading up on and using erythritol I can't find anything negative about it ( except the price...) I find it blends well with stevia, getting rid of stevia's horrible licorice taste in many things....I dont seem to stall from it but I dont use very much and I am doing induction so I am bound to loose weight ... Any thoughts?

| Hi Tanya. I find that ANY sugar alcohols give my intestinal distress. Erythritol does the least however. I jsut bought some stevia mixed with Erythritol but haven't used it yet. I mix stevia, with Splenda and Sweet and Low to make a sugar sub that's ready to go. I need to mix some up today. I'll let you know if it causes, um, gassy problems for me. I know Maggie says this sugar alcohol does the least damage to her blood glucose levels.

| I've tried this and had no problem with it. The only weird thing with it is the "cooling" effect, which is an odd aftertaste kind of...Tastes like mints or something. |
