Default Is this recipe OK?

Hi All,

I am not in induction. To kill my sweet cravings I have been making ricotta with a packet of splenda and a tsp of unsweetened cocoa. It takes like the inside of a cannoli! Yum! I know the dairy produces natural "sugar" but I think this is ok. Any thoughts?

I have had the same thing for a snack, it's calmed the cravings pretty well. I assume you are watching portion size.
If you are eating berries they are pretty good with ricotta too.
Good luck.

Sounds like something I used to do back in the day. I used to soften cream cheese, add splenda and cocoa powder.........very similar. It saved me from running to the nearest Walgreens and buying every piece of chocolate in sight!!!!! Sometimes ya do whatcha gotta do!!!!!! NOW I make a chocolate candy with HERSHEY'S baking (unsweetened) chocolate (about 4 bars), a couple of 70% cocoa bars, a 1/4 cup of Ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate chips, 1/2 stick of butter and maybe a couple of "sugar free" chocolate bars, sweetened with sugar alcohols all melted together in a metal bowl over a pot of water, to which I add a cup of granular splenda. I have a couple of candy molds and make these chocolates in them, chill until solid and then when a chocolate craving hits, they are ready. I haven't figured out the carb counts on them, but when I perfect a recipe, I will post it somewhere.
