| hello every one im melissa. I have never joined a support group .I was looking over this one and everyone seems really great.In not really sure what going to happen after i post this but im hoping to make some friends that will support me in my journey to lose 100+ pounds. i have a supportive family bot they are not doing this with me so im glad to have my online friends doing this also. i have done low carb once before and lost over 85 pounds then i became pregant. well needless to say after i had the baby i kept eating like i was pregnant .and it was so had to bring my self to say ok its time to go back on a low carb diet. well the other day i just had a break down and reliezed im not happy at this weight i'm unhealthy at this size i cant to everything i want to do with my kids at this weight ive got to do something.and ive got to make it fast so i woke up the next morning and started the atkins program.if i did it before i can do it again i just keep telling myself that.well im not sure what else i should write . but im going to give my email address incase any one want to chat about dieting or just life in general. lissa_rose2001@yahoo.com. i also would like to pm or even chat in a chat room if any one is interested. hope everyone is having a great day |

| Hello ,What are good times for you to meet in the chat room? My 2 yr old keeps me going till about 10.30 pm,so I normally check things out here about 11 or so.

| Melissa glad you made it back. Hopefully you'll have time to check out the recipe section. I've got my husband eating low carb at dinner (the only meal we eat together during the week). | Hello any time during the day is great for me to meet in the chat room ive been there several times and im the only one in there. I am home all day until 3. i also have hids i have a 10 month old girl and a 12 year old boy i like to get on when the baby is napping thats normally around 9 am and then again at 2pm. hope to see ya in there. i keep my yahoo on all day so if you want to im me then meet we can do that its lissa_rose@yahoo.com . |

| Hello everyone. i am feeling so good now that i'm back on track wityh atkins it was so hard the first week but i did it i got through it .Ive decided im going to weigh in every week for the first 4 weeks just to keep me going and give me some hope, then every month .I have been sooo busy with school I had one final exam last night and i have one more to go! after that i am going to start pilates for beginners . does any one else do that?i need some exercise that i can do when my 10 month old is sleeping or she will be all over the place .I was reading the other post and see that so many of you share the same problems as i do i was thinking loosing over 100 pounds is never going to happen but now i have hope .i read to set goals ... maybe 10 pounds at a time ,i think thats such a good idea. and thats what im going to do.i cant wait to see what the scale says on sat. when i get to work .i only work weekends so its easy for me to only weigh on sat. as i dont keep a scale in my home .i have a questions how many of you have tried to quit smoking while dieting and how did it go?.not going so good here. |

| Welcome!! I think 10 pound goals are wonderful. It's much easier to celebrate as each decade passes then to wait forever to celebrate the magic # you have in your mind. I wish I would have taken a pic of me each month just to watch my journey. I've also heard making a paperclip chain with each paperclip being a pound. Oh, be sure to take your measurements. You'd be surprised on what you will lose in even your neck. Have a great day and will be back on Satuday. I'm excited for the scale to go down for you. |
