Talking One thing...??

what is the one thing that you can do now that you couldn't do before you lost weight?

Or

what is the one thing that you want to do when you are at goal or close to it??

have it be zipping a certain size jeans, confidence in taking pictures, wearing a belt, anything like that,......

Let's get some motivational thoughts going here......

Great thread, PQ!

I just have more energy, can get around easier, have fewer problems with my arthritis (although it's still with me, it's a lot more bearable), and I fit in my chair at work now! The arms adjust out, and mine are now adjusted all the way in! And now there is room to spare. I also fit in other chairs better.

(I know you said ONE THING, but, hey, it's so nice to have multiple good things!)

I used to have a 42 inch Waist , i could never see what is below my waist when i was having a shower , now that i have a 34 inch Waist , after being on a low carb diet , i can see everything below my waist very clearly! hahaha..

Oh , and i am very energetic too , even though i dont eat carbs , my primary source of energy is the fat i have hidden now!

Everything is just ... easier. I go through the day with an even energy level, my knees don't hurt, my blood sugar levels and cholesterol have become normal ... and, oh yeah, being a shorty, I get to shop in the junior department - where all the cool clothes are.

Perhaps this is not a good motivational goal, however I would like to have a raspberry slice!!! It is probably crammed with carbs

However..................I would like to have it only to realise that it is not as tasty as I remember it?

Tal,
I don't know what a Raspberry Slice is and maybe that is a good thing, but I do know that being healthy and thin and feeling good about the reflection in the mirror is better than anything that I can put in my mouth, afterall it is gone is seconds.......

-Being able to look in the mirror and not be disgusted with the way I look

-Having my clothes fit better

-More energy

-Less aches and pains

-self confidence

-I also get a natural high from a good work-out at the gym....feels great!!!!

My bad you said one thing....oh well.
