| Hello, I have just completed my two weeks of induction, and I am really enjoying eating low carb. I am still very ignorant of many things and perhaps just too lazy to read the Atkins book from cover to cover. I think I learn more from "live examples" such as I get here. Anyway, I went to my local health store today and found dried strawberries. I understand that this is a permitted "berry" however as it is dried, then it must have some sugar content. This item is sold in bulk in small snack bags and does not have any nutritional information on it. I just opened the bag and had four, and they are scumptious!!! I know that fresh or frozen would be better however I am not a "berry" fan at all really. I cannot believe I have not eaten my favorite fruit, bananas for over two weeks. I use to eat a huge one everyday!!!! I have not had any cravings for them either. I visted fitday and could not see any information on dried strawberries at all. Can anyone help!!! Thank you. |

| Well, I suppose it depends whether they have added sugar or not. If you have just finished induction then you really should follow the ladder.
