Default Yet another coming back...

I haven't posted since the end of September and I went back to the old eating habits. So now I'm back but I'm struggling with carbs. My children are my biggest supporters and want to see me at a healthy weight and eating right again.

I need more than their support and the journal I had started at least kept me accountable and those that posted there were such a great help. I'm debating on whether to start a new journal or revive the old one though.

Hello,

I too am staring again. I restarted doing the CALP woe, it has worked well for me in the past. I once lost (in 2000 & 2001) 75 lbs doing this woe.

Its Carbohydrate Addicts Lifespan Program. And its fairly easy to follow, eat small 4 carb or less meals a day and then have one "Reward Meal" a day consisting of a balanced plate of foods including carb foods. I can do this cause I can tell myself that I can have whatever it is thats tempting me for my reward meal.

Im on my 3rd day today of this eating plan and I feel good, not all bloated like I was and have a good amount of energy today.

I run a small gourmet dog treat business and it does take a bit of energy, which I have lacked in the past few weeks, and now Im rearing to go. good thing too, the shelves of the store are about bare, only have two items left, gotta get them shelves bulging again.

So get the book with the above title if you're interested in the CALP and try it, it works for me!!

Later, low carb tater!

Shelak

Cris, good for you for getting going again! You are a lucky mommy to have the support of your kids - you must be bringing them up right!

For me, posting at LCE and "staying in touch" really keeps my focus on heathly eating choices. Sometimes I make better choices than other times, but I do try to stay in touch with my "hommies" here as a way of not drifting too far off target.

Yeah, the kids are great in that area.

I agree. It really helps to stay in touch, even through bad days. Good advice.
