    Default Oh Oh

Oh well what did I just go and do today? :(

Well, I went for a run at lunchtime, thinking that when I get back I would have lunch. However, I run into my friend at the park and a couple of coffees and a few hours later I find myself starving and completely out of synch with my eating as I should have had lunch a long time ago (I am normally very organised with my food.)

Anyway, I ended up at my very local supermarket staring into the ice-cream freezer section. I must have weirded people out as I spent a good 10 minutes with the door open reading all the labels, luckily the amount of sugar and empty nutrients in commercial ice-creams made me yuck.

So instead I bought an apple and a box of strawberries and ate them instead. :( On induction too!

Don't be so hard on yourself, kiddo! You chose the lesser of the evils and did the best you could. Get re-focused and go from there

I would say that was definitely a victory!

Not exactly induction, as you recognize, but you didn't completely cave and have the ice cream.

Pat yourself on the back for getting that far, and move on with induction. YOU CAN DO IT, and the fact that you can make better choices proves it.

Yes the apple and strawberries aren't inductions foods but ARE far better than that ice cream. I do that as well sometimes but I forget to eat then get busy then am starving and look for a quick fix. Luckily like yesterday I was able to talk myself out of simple and bad. Today you'll eat a few less carbs and hopefully you won't be thrown too far out of ketosis.

Well, I really enjoyed eating the fruit, and it is SUCH A TREAT, I couldn't imagine ice-cream tasting this good!

I am sat here now feeling rather full. I think this indescretion might help with the fibre issues too!

I have put Crest white strips on to make sure I don't eat anything for the next 40 minutes, plus they are making my teeth look gorgeous. Every time I walk past a mirror I flash a smile at myself!

Thank you both for your kind comments.
