Smile Newbie here saying HI!

Hi everyone..just joined this group today after reading lots and lots of helpful information from all of you! And most encouraging sucess stories! I'm 44 with two grown children and a wonderful finance "getting married Sept 30th!" I'm not new to the LC way of life.. I did really great with it 2 years back lost 58 lbs fairly quickly. Since then however I met the most wonderful man in my life and its not been as easy to stay on the wagon! And now for the past two weeks I'm back to the LC way of life. Atkins seems to be the best for me. I admit I foolishly did not get on the scale at the start of it this time. Too chicken ..I guess I didn't want to face the truth! I finally forced myself to do that and my start weight was 226.8lbs and as of today I was 224.4lbs so its a start at least. Not sure what if any I lost that first week! I've been in Ketosis since about day 2 so thats good! Anyway.. I've really dedicated myself to sticking to this WOE I've not strayed from course and going to try to stay with induction for quite awhile longer as I'd like to get down to 155lbs. not sure if that is possible or not but I am going to give it my best!
Thanks for being here and for listening.. Linda

Thanks again to all of you for the very warm welcome!! Thanks Cinderella for your very kind words and welcome to the group!! As you mentioned with all the encouragement from all of the wonderful folks here we are going to succeed! This time around for me is much different than the first time. The weight is really just sloooooowly creeping off. So slow that I am not really seeing a difference yet. But, with all of you here for support and all the wonderful success stories to inspire me and the WONDERFUL recipes I know with time and patience I will also succeed. I dont know if I'll be the weight I want to be by the wedding, but I have a very supportive finance he loves me no matter what weight I am. I'm really not doing this for him, its for ME!
I hope you all had a great Easter holiday. I was working.. Boo Hoo

Hoping you all have a terrific day!

Linda~
