I have a couple of the nutritional value counter websites saved but I would like a book to refer to for convenience, traveling etc.
Any suggestions for an accurate carb counting book I can purchase at a bookstore? Would rather not order on-line. I guess I can peruse the bookstore but I value your opinions.

I got the Atkins Carbohydrate gram counter, pocket book size. It's just right to carry in my purse, and it's actually stood up well to the *use and abuse* it gets in my pocketbook The foods are listed in sections, so it's easy to use.

Thanks Shelley! Hopefully it will have name brands also, there are differences with the carb count for the same item but of different brands. I guess the best rule of thumb is when an item has a count of "0" on one brand and a count or "1" on another, we should give ourselves the 1 gram. I really don't trust the packaging label too much after the discrepancies I've seen!
