| I have a couple of the nutritional value counter websites saved but I would like a book to refer to for convenience, traveling etc. Any suggestions for an accurate carb counting book I can purchase at a bookstore? Would rather not order on-line. I guess I can peruse the bookstore but I value your opinions. Thanks much! |

| I got the Atkins Carbohydrate gram counter, pocket book size. It's just right to carry in my purse, and it's actually stood up well to the *use and abuse* it gets in my pocketbook hth

| Thanks Shelley! Hopefully it will have name brands also, there are differences with the carb count for the same item but of different brands. I guess the best rule of thumb is when an item has a count of "0" on one brand and a count or "1" on another, we should give ourselves the 1 gram. I really don't trust the packaging label too much after the discrepancies I've seen! Thanks again! |
