Thank you all so much for the recipe and advice on the OMM. It is HUGE and great, not to mention a great treat while having absolutely no bread type food for a week! I found SF/Carb free/gluten free/etc. Blueberry Syrup by Walden Farms and used it instead of Splenda. When it was cool I spread a thin layer of Mascarpone cheese on top and drizzled a bit more blueberry syrup on top. I was one happy camper! Yummy! Thanks so much, I will have to try different variables and have one a day from now on!

That is one of the most popular recipes here. I like it with Banana extract for "banana bread." Mmmmm.

Hi, I have to agree with you cinderella. The OMM is indeed awesome. I love that it is soooo quick and easy to prepare, and it almost feels like I am cheating with bread!! I'm having some later with my tuna salad.. YUM!! I am looking forward to experimenting with many of the other varieties that members have posted. But, for now I want to keep to the basics, keeping my carbs low. Down 3 lbs this week!! Hooooray!! Hoping you all have a wonderful day!! Linda

Hey Linda, Congrats on your loss! We both joined the site around the same time so I am trying to keep to the basics as well, but looking forward to tweaking some of my meals. I make tuna salad often and to make it interesting I have added chopped green olives or capers (2 TBPS <1 carb). I'm down 4 lbs. this week but not showing any purple on the Ketostix and it's driving me crazy. I know it doesn't register for all but when I did this eating plan 30 yrs. ago I was purple all the time, hormones maybe? Anyway good luck to you and keep us posted!

LindaLJ, welcome to our forum. I love the OMM, too. Those things are so versatile and flax is great for you. Cinderella, maybe you might want to think about not focusing on the stix for awhile. I'm one of those folks who never did get a purple stick, so I quit using them. It almost became discouraging for me, regardless of the fact that I was losing weight anyway. Just an idea there for you.

Thanks Kumas, that's what I'm going to do! The thing that makes me mad is that I had a bottle that I was using and realized it expired in 1998 and thought that was why I wasn't getting a reading so I bought a new, 100 count bottle, that cost $16.98, and still nothing so I want to just toss them so I won't get discouraged but I am too darn cheap! I need to learn how to "walk away from the sticks"! The important thing is that I feel great, have been eating so decadently and slowly the pounds are coming off! I crave water all the time and have been drinking so much and that's probably why there's no purple...I'm diluted!! Thanks for the advice! What a GREAT cheering team we have here!

Congrats on your 4lbs Cinderella!! Wooohooo WTG!! Sounds like you are on the right track. I have to agree with the others about the stix, if you are losing that's what counts. I like your ideas for the tuna salad as that is something I tend to eat alot of since its so quick to whip it up and with my work schedule quick and easy is what I need! That's one of the biggest reasons I love that OMM!! Keep up the great work Cinderella and keep us posted. Linda
