Smile Newbie here - 3 days into induction on Atkins

Greetings everyone. I started the Atkins Sunday morning and it is now Tuesday, I'm down 3.5 pounds, have lost my cravings and am feeling awesome. I'm not getting too hungry between meals but I do have a bag of spicy pork rinds at my desk - just in case.

Let's hope this keeps up. I'm wondering why the heck I didn't start this a lot sooner.

:jump: Welcome to the Low Carb Life and the forums!! Great to hear that you are feeling good and are starting to loose. This is really a great site with really helpful and friendly people that are always here for you.

This is my second attempt at LC since I lost my way last year after losing 30 lbs and gaining it all back since I went back to my old way of eating. So This is my 8th day of induction and I tell you it is the best feeling ever and I was so happy to come back with no judgement and get the same great support as last time. So welcome once again and see you around the boards :fork:

Thanks guys...I've been lurking for a couple of day (actually since I decided to do atkins on Friday) and I really liked the encouragement mixed with knowledge that this board offers.

I'm thinking of doing the journal thing since I think that might be a really neat way to track my progress and get over any humps or stalls I may encounter.

LOL! I know the feeling!

I wish I had known about Atkins back when it was only 10 lbs... but you know what they say about wishing...

Welcome and congrats on the early success!
