Question Vit. C "Cellulose"?

The vitamin C tablet I take has "Cellulose" in it as well as a few other ingred. ending with "lose". Is that going to be a factor? Isn't that a form of sugar? Should I stop taking it? Thanks for your help!

Relax, Cinderella.

But good work on getting suspicious of ingredients ending in "ose." Cellulose is simply the rigid, fibrous, outer portion of certain plant cells. Think: celery ... heck, think: trees. Cellulose is not something that raises blood sugar.

HTH.
