Default little bit worried help!

hi guys, well i am on day 5 today and i weighed myself (even though my weigh in day is monday) as ive put my bloody back out started exercising and not sure what i did (i think it is a crappy sofa) as a few years ago i put it out (really badly-hospital & everything!)

and im worried that i might either-eat a lot of crap (you know 'cheer myself up') but theres none in the house, which is good! or eat something not on plan as i cant bloody cook (cant stand for long) so im not sure what to do, my boyf is ill and cant cook for me.

so im a bit worried as now i have to go to bed with ice & a bloody pillow, i had a atkins bar for breaki & i normally have a omlette, which fills me up for about 4 hours! i just feel like today is going to go out of the window? & ive done so well i dont want it to!

well even though its only been 5 days ive lost 8lb! so ive put that as my weight loss for this week, and i wont WI on monday, ill jsut do it next mon instead! that way incase i gain over this weekend, i have time to sort it out i guess!

Also ive lost: 3.5 Inchs off of my waist! 1 inch of my hips, and 0.5 inch off my arms! and 0.5 inch off of my neck!!! in 5 days im well happy! :jumpgreen

Congratulations on your excellent start!

Here's hoping your back injury heals quickly. I think many of us (I'm the original couch fauxtato, LOL!) jump into exercise with a bit too much vigor if we've been sedentary for a period of time. When you feel better, maybe you should take a slow start at the exercise stuff - lots of stretching and start out gently, working your way up as you gain strength?

Maybe you could try LC foods that are quick to get at while you are recovering.
Hard boiled eggs for breakfast instead of an omlette?
A prepackaged salad for lunch?
Prepackaged tuna for dinner?
I find that when I go to exercise after not having done it for a while that I feel great while I am going all out, but hurt the next day. So I have started doing some interval training to build up to a reasonable amount of time.
Hope that helps and that you feel better!

My thoughts exactly, like have a supply of cold cuts and cheese in the fridge for roll ups. Maybe buy a pre-roasted chicken so you won't have to cook it, by all means hard boiled eggs, etc. You have done so GREAT already! That alone should keep you motivated enough not to stray! So hang in there, you will get over this set back. Just take it easy and don't cave!

Oh, I'm SO glad you are feeling better!

You are off to an AMAZING start and I would really hate to see you lose momentum! It's true what they say about this way of eating: you never have as big a bang (initial weightloss) as the very first time you start this plan.
If you could find some way to stay on plan -- despite the pain and inability to move much -- you could make some SERIOUS progress in no time.
So don't give up! And keep posting; we are here for you!
Wishing you a speedy recovery & much success,
