Default Back to Atkins, and will stick to it..

Hi , i am back to atkins now.. i was on cambridge for some weeks , but could not stick to just drinking low calorie milkshakes , as i really enjoy eating meat instead.. i found that after the 3rd week of cambridge , i just could not drink any more shakes and i fell off the wagon and ate a lot of carbs after that..

But thats the past , and im back to atkins now , i will be starting my induction phase from tomorrow and will track my progress accordingly..

Fortunately im on vacation for a month so i can focus on a very strict atkins diet , and plan my diet so i dont screw up again.

I needed to know the website , in which i can check what food products i can eat while im on the low carb diet.. do Jalapenos have any carbs?

Thanks!

Nitro, here is a link to the USDA Nutrient Database.
http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

This site shows that 1 cup of sliced canned jajapenos has 2.23 net carbs.

Here is a link to the Atkins website that includes information on Induction

Hi!

Welcome back! Wishing you much success and enjoyment on your month-long vacation/Atkins reinduction.

(BTW, I feel ya - I'll take a diet that includes meat over one that's all shakes any day!)

No seriously , eating a steak without potatoes is a lot more easier than just drinking a shake with artificial sweetners while ur friends are eating pork chops , with the meat , u can do it no matter where u are , and it tastes great! ,

Thanks for all the support and links! good luck to you all too!!
