Default Doing It Again....

Hi everyone, im back finally. Got myself derailed due to a few of life's complications. Had lost just over a 100lbs previously on low carb. Now i havent gained all of the weight back, but i have gained a significant amount back. just over 40lbs regained. Most of the regain occurred during the beginning of 2007, not gonna go into detail the situations that occurred, because im past all of that and no looking back now.

I have one day of induction to do and i'll be moving on to the next phase. Im very pleased with my induction this second time. My first go on induction in 2004 i only lost 2lbs, this time im down 9lbs. Im also a lot more active this time than before, so im thinking thats the difference.

I feel so great, i cannot believe i forgot how great it feels to be in ketosis and how much energy i have. That wonderful glow in my skin and eyes have returned as well. This feeling is so much more rewarding than any of the wrong foods i could think of putting into my body.

Im so excited and thrilled, just because i know the success ive had and ive finally got my mind, body and soul back into this. i have been trying get to back into this for a few months and ive finally finished induction. now i just gotta focus on that water now.

thanks for taking the time to read this and im here to give and receive support, thanks.

Welcome back! Always delighted to see folks return after a "break" because I know that means they're getting back on track and feeling better. Sounds like it's definitely true for you, too.

Glad to have you back with us.

Welcome back.

I'm recently getting serious again as well (and haven't been on the site much lately) so I know just how you feel.

My big problem was vacation 4 years ago. Got down to 152 (12 pounds from goal) and then went to Europe for 3 weeks. Gained 20 pounds on the trip and then got back and gained 40 more! Not good. Ended up back to 215.

I'm 184 right now so I've been making progress but it's been very rollercoaster-ride-ish!

Here's to both of us seeing this through

Isn't it nice to come back "home?" I had been absent for a while, too.

So, Welcome Back!

Welcome back! I too have decided to come back, also. I hadnt realized how long I have been eating this wol, wow time flies. My sister and I did this 4 years ago, I have pretty much maintained my goal weight, with the exception of a few lbs. She has not, and has gain all and then some back. So we are both heading back on induction, and working together again. GL to all who are coming back, and Happy New Year! Darla
