Talking Spring Motivation....

Hello Everyone!!!

I am certain that I am not the only one out there that is getting excited about Spring and Summer around the corner.
If you have been doing any sort of slacking and putting off...now it is the time to get a 100% on program and shed those last 10 pounds or shed the beginning of a 40 pound goal (like me).

Spring comes in quick and Summer is always here before we know it! The smell of spring, having the windows open again, the flowers in bloom, wearing something other than brown and black!!!

The "Skinny" clothes....shall I say less clothes.....weather is almost here. ( Depending on where you live that is) Me I live in Buffalo,NY where we look forward to the "Nice"weather more so that than most people.
So now is the time to get ready for program once again and get yourself motivated to hop on the treadmill or walk the stairs instead of the elevator. Heck even pulling out last years clothes ( or in my case the 2 bins of summer "hottie" clothes that don't fit) and say......this time is different....this time I am going to do it and keep the weight off.
Does the word Bathing Suit scare you??

If you are dreading to know if your summer clothes fit....if you know that they are going to be a little snug.......let's get this LC party started!!!

I am starting a 30 day challenge.(See challenge forum for more info)....staying clean and cheat free for 30 days.....what a great way to bring in Spring. Come and join me.
Do it for yourself! You can do it...you just have to believe!!!!

Take care of you!!!

I'm with you on the summer clothes being too tight (at least the clothes I really like!). I'd like to join your 30 day challenge.

Thanks Mick! I must have missed it. Mick and BC what blasts from the PAST! I have been good! I have been through a lot since I last posted. I was doing great maintaining and then had major health issues. Took them forever to diagnose me, I am gluten intolerant. I have celiac disease. You would think that would have thrown me right back into low carb with no question. But alas, NO. I rebelled and for a while had no clue what I could/couldn't eat so I turned to M&M's which are gluten/wheat free! But I have been gluten free for just over 2 years now and I am finally ready to hit low carb again. Since my body is absorbing all my food now (now that gluten isn't tearing me up constantly) I have put on 10 pounds. My signature stuff isn't close to right...but I am BACK! I hit low carb today and feel good. This should be easy since WHEAT isn't even an option for me. It is the SUGAR that will be tough. But I am prepared now and I am ready...hence why I am back here to get help from all my GREAT pals!

Mon, you have indeed had quite a health trip. So glad you've been diagnosed and have a healthy tummy now. Yeah, if an M&M diet worked, boy I'd be there in a flash Glad you're back on lc and feeling good, too. If you've only gained 10 pounds after all that I'd call you a great success!!!

I'm not Zoning, although I still use some of the general principles. I've found Protein Power to be an approach which works very well for me.

Hope to see you and Mick much more frequently here!!

Brenda and Mick, I have truly missed you guys. But for about 1 year I felt like CRAP! It seemed no matter what I ate I was sick. I had bathroom issues and couldn't get any energy. In addition to the Celiac diagnosis, I was also diagnosed HYPOthyroid! If it is possible, I think I contract it!

M&M diet worked for a while, my tummy hadn't healed so everything was still going through me! LOL But, it is better that my insides are all healed up! I couldn't have made it much longer the way I was going!

Good to be back girls and knowing you 2 remembered me, well HECK, that means the world!

Ya, these are cargo style. I can't get them over my hips at this point. But, I am apple shaped and when I lose I lose the belly...the butt that I don't have anyway...hips and keep the upper half. SO I will be wearing them come summer.......
