CAN you have a burger from a fast food place? I know to avoid heavy sugar condiments, but wasn't sure if this 'old school' idea was still ok. The time change has really kicked me in the rear and I'm just too tired to cook tonight.

thanks in advance

You can have the hamburger itself...just throw the bun away.

I'm probably too late on this, but I have asked for a burger without a bun before. I've even done it and McD's when we've been traveling. They usually are helpful and wrap it in lettuce.

... Yeah. and if you're in NYC, skip the White Castle. When you throw away the bun there's almost nothing left.

(used to be one of my favorite food groups. I'm so old they were .12 when I was a kid.)
