This is the beginning of day three of induction. I am feeling that energy returning that I remember and hav'nt felt For a couple of years ! Too bad I have this Big ole brace on my leg and can only limp around with my cane.I would love to get outside and take a long walk.I'm going to try to find my hand weights or bands to work off some of this energy.I hope all are finding this energy I am feeling,The first two days were rough, felt like I had the flu but stick it out it's worth it !!! I know day 3 may not seem like a big deal, but for me it's major !!!

Congratulations on sticking through those yucky days. Any upper body work you can do will be of great benefit. Lifting weights, using the bands, even just doing arm movements, perhaps bending at the waist, anything will be good for you. In fact, I just looked up some seated exercises:

Seated Full Body Workout - Exercises for your body- Exercise

Seated Exercise Series: Chair Aerobics

NCPAD:Videos: Seated Strengthening Exercises

Hope these will be of some use to you.

Day 6 on induction,no cheats yet except for one day I had extra salad because I went out to eat twice and was also extreemly hungry that day. Having difficulty with cravings off and last night and today for some reason,it mat be because im not getting my water in,i'll have to work harder on that I hav'nt decided if I will weigh on day 7 or not. I am going to try not to because I tend to get scale obcessed, and when I don't get the numbers that I think I should I get off track. But over all I am feeling better, the things I have noticed are, energy, less brain fog,and a reduction it hot flashes,So those are three big reasons to stay sugar free and on induction !

rae, you made me laugh with your cheat. that's the tamest cheat i believe i've seen in a good long while...
sounds like you're doing great! and from what you're reporting physically, it sounds like you're feeling good, too! i think how you're feelings is one of the best indicators of whether or not your approach is working that you can find.

good luck with 'em! i have found that most of my cravings become less troublesome the longer i'm in the "clean zone"...most likely to flare when i'm under extra stress.

that scale obsession can be a real troublesome puppy and you're wise to be aware of that. anything that helps you keep your attitude positive is always a good thing.

thanks for that encouraging update, rae! i'm glad to hear things are going well for you.

Yes the scale is a hard thing to stay away from . I remember back a few years ago on this forum I was worried about my mental health when it came to my scale habits,I started a thread asking about it the thread became very funny, one of my favorites was a post by someone by the posting name of Dryad it simply said "I am a scale Wh**e" and another one by a male who refered to the scale as a lover who whispered his name over and over, there were lots of funny post that made me know I was not too nuts.

I was there, Raedar!

I do recall that ZipToPlay (on this or a previous thread on the same topic) also had a number of witty comments in the thread.

But I remember Dryad's comments as well!

That thread sounds funny! I wish I could find it because I get obsessed with the scale often and would love to read others funny reactions.
