Default Sweetener for Coffee

I've always tried to stay away from the chemical concoction sweeteners and go with natural. However, I'm having trouble finding something that actually gives me the flavor I'm accustomed to in my coffee. I've tried liquid Stevia. Yuck! I'm now trying Xylitol because I thought it might be more sugar-like. Unfortunately, NOT! I'm probably just too picky. Before low carb, I made my coffee with the raw (light brown, grainy) sugar in the brown box. I forget the name. Anyway, it gave a nice sweet and "caramelly" flavor. Got any suggestions? I saw someone reference a brown sugar by Splenda but am wary of the fake stuff, as I mentioned before. May just have to get over that!

For my coffee and tea, I use liquid splenda, which I buy on line.
I also use just a sprinkle of SteviaPlus, the powdered stevia product by Wisdom Herbs. These 2 sweetners are very synergistic and for me, I can detect NO after taste.

For baking I use the above 2 sweetners and sometimes add Erythritol, my favorite of all the sugar alcohols.

sweetzfree is the liquid splenda I use; the website is the same name.

if you like a carmel flavor, you might be interested in davinci sf syrups, too. they add some sweetness and come in a bunch of flavors.

i find myself mixing and matching for my coffee. i've got some sweetzfree stuff now, and use fiberfit a lot. that and some of the syrup and you've got a nice, flavored approximation of fancy coffees. as a plus, the fiberfit adds plenty of fiber to my daily intake...

Thanks, Ladies! I got some of the DaVinci syrups yesterday and had some caramel in my coffee this morning. Not bad! I'll have to look for the Sweetzfree next time I'm at the health food store. I think I saw it at Sun Harvest last time I was there but didn't know what it was. Also, the Fiberfit.
