Hi all. Just have a quick question regarding calculating the total carbs in food. Yesterday I purchased a blend of ground flaxseed, almonds and sunflower seeds to use as the "flour" in my OMM. Now, the total carbs were listed as 3.6 per serve and the dietary fibre was listed as 4.7 - does this mean that the total carbs actually add up to 0 or am I just calculating this wrongly?

Carbs have to be equal to or more than the fiber, so it's possible that the carb count is net here. It would make sense. My flaxseed meal is 8 carbs, 8 fiber, so 0 carbs. The almonds and sunflower seeds will have a few carbs, so 3.6 net is probably about right.

Thanks Nita, I was concerned incase I baked with it thinking there were no carbs when in fact I might have been eating a whole bunch. Now I can try out my first OMM tonight without worry! Can't wait!!
