| I am looking for what is best to buy. My favorite dressings are creamy poppy seed, ranch, and sometimes red rasberry vinagrette but I really love the sweet poppy seed kind. I tried a blue cheese one and just don't like it. I prefer to buy one but will make one in a heartbeat if it is sweet and creamy.

| I make a sweet french dressing that I keep in the refrigerator at all times, up to 1 month after making. Here is the recipe: 1 small onion 1/3 cup low carb ketchup (I use Heintz 1 carb) 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 cup sugar equivalent artificial sweetener (I use liquid splenda) 1 Tbls worcestershire sauce 1 cup oil Place all ingredients, except the oil, in a blender and process until smooth. With the blender running on high, slowly drizzle in the oil to form an emulsion. Refrigerate until ready to use. (If the oil separates after storage, simply stir the dressing to reincorporate the oil before using.)

| That recipe is VERY good! I can vouch for it. (the 1/2 cup in Henry's recipe, I believe, means enough artificial sweetener to equal the sweeting power of 1/2 cup sugar. That's how I interpreted it and it worked fine for me. Using liquid splenda, that was just several drops. Correct me if I'm wrong Henry.) Also, Evie, most full-fat ranch dressings are ok. Just avoid any that say "low calorie" and read the label carefully.
