I tried one of their products, didn't like it and have not tried anything else. I suspect, though I am not sure, that their jelly has sugar alcohol in it so read the label and be careful.

I have never even seen jams before....I use the salad dressings, though! Yummy!

upaspin - here's some discussion on walden farms stuff - Walden Farms products

basically, they seem to get mixed reviews in the taste deparment. i tried the bbq sauce and was pretty underwhelmed, but i haven't tried the jelly stuff. the best bet when you're wondering about the accuracy of the labels is looking at the ingredients and seeing if it makes sense...some of the manufacturers seem to do a bit of a slight of hand with serving sizes to get their nutritional info, but not all of 'em...

I have reposted this 'cause I know not everyone reads the different ones i am on and i'd like thoughts....
I am feeling terrible. I stopped massively exercising because it appeared i wasnt losing...maybe even gaining....wasnt eating enough to exercise....I find myself going back to that bad place I was at before, but that doesnt matter either. I saw a ed counselor who received all of my records from Doctors...evidently my lowest weight was 85-ish....which I denied. I was never that small...I dont think. They were surprised because I had all of the hallmarks of whatever, but nothing was ever really done or really said to me in any urgent manner. Now I am enormous because of massive amounts of steroids and guys.....it is not coming off. The counselor doesnt think she can help me. Told me to check out Pro Ana/Mia sites, because they may help me understand on my own terms and WTF!!!! They shoe Thinspiration pics and all other such nonsense that makes me feel worse, but they accept me. Offer to do a 21 day fast with me online....ahhh, yeah...if I do that I am back on that crazy road I was at before, always cold, blue nail beds, extra make up under the eyes and I am already there....but fat. They are crazy nice....uggggggggh. Great people, like you guys. They tell me to at least eat 200 cals a day...I drank an atkins shake or two a day before...thats how I did it...for a few years...getting worse. They want me to eat low fat food....no...that never worked for me...no carb/low carb worked. I am losing an inch there or here....I am not really losing. I made the leap and saw two ED docs...they told me they cant help me? My bloodwork is great, thyroid, etc., High , healthy amount of vitamin and minerals "so at least I am being smart about that and upping my vitamin intake"....yeah, I always did take my vitamins and by the way, THANKS FOR YOUR HELP YOU CRAP DOCTORS!
Taped myself today....

Leslie- I'm so sorry to hear you're having a rough time. I strongly commend your stated decision to seek professional support, and sincerely hope you do perservere in until you find a professional, team, or treatment center that is a good fit for you and follow through.

I've got to be honest here, though: This isn't an ED forum and we simply aren't equipped to give that kind of support. While a small number of our membership has experience with ED issues, the vast majority don't. Our orientation even on low carbing is geared toward moderation.

Understanding the fact that people die from eating disorders, I am NOT willing to provide a forum where well-meaning people (myself included) are attempting to help with issues that are so far beyond their knowledge or capacity to help with that they could eaisly do more harm than good. It's not fair to you or them.

So that having been said, I'm going to remove the muliple postings of this message. If you have questions/concerns/complaints about this decision, you're welcome to private message me about it. You're certainly still welcome as a member here, but I need it to be clear this isn't part of what we do and it's not going to become part of what we do.

I do hope you find your answers, Leslie. I wish you nothing but good.

Peace out.
