. I actually did Atkins with great results about 4 years ago, but some laziness/quitting smoking recently have pushed my weight up to uncomfortable numbers and I'm ready to get serious again. | Thank you both for the kind welcome Day one was okay - though I know I was a bit grumpy, going through carb and sugar withdrawl. It'll get easier as the days pass, I'm sure. Thanks for the kudos for quitting smoking, Shelley! It was soooo hard - I figure if I can get through that, giving up carbs again should be a breeze Anyway, thanks again for welcoming me. I will see you around the boards. |

| Hi everyone! Today is the start of day 4, and I feel more energetic already. Getting all my waters in is helping a lot, I think. It's keeping me full and just making me feel clean. I am sooo tempted to get on the scale -- even though I know how the scale screws with people's minds. I'll wait until Tuesday morning (same time, same day every week is my plan), but I can already feel a little bit of a difference in my clothes, so I know I'm on the right track ![]() Have a great day, ladies! |
