Hi,

I'm giving up my 'lurker' status to join in the discussions. I followed Protein Power for a period of time about 4 years back and had great results (160/140 in about 3 months). Life changes got in the way (divorce, cross-country move, new job...yadayada) and I fell off the wagon in a big way. I'm back to the WOL now, with dh right with me. We restarted locarb in March of this year using a sort of a blend between Atkins and Protein Power... it's working for us!

I've made use of the great information here (and at the old site) to help us along the path. What a terrific forum this is!

Have a great weekend and drink your water!

Glad to see you've come out of "hiding"!

Sounds like you're doing a great job. I also had a huge life change right after I started LCing, and I was amazed that I made it!

Sounds like you've got a great combination of plans - the secret to success, I think, is to find a way to make this work for you every day, and if it means taking a bit of this and a bit of that, cool!

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I did the same thing. I did a combo of several different plans because I had to find what worked for me. Doing the combo worked (and still does.) You just hafta find what works and then do it.

I've found that it's the "just doing it" that's the difficult part for me.

Ginger
Welcome, glad to have you witj us.

I started out with Atkins/protein power mix in february and have lost 53 pounds so far. So I know it works. I've since drifted into a new modification but thats irrelevant.
Good luck
Rob
