| hey! I just signed on to look up a recipe for cucumber salad, but now I see the recipe part is down. Anyone have one handy? thanks! Heather |

| Well, a typical mixture normally contains sliced cucumber, sour cream, vinegar, salt, pepper, a touch of sweetener and dill. That's a really basic recipe. You could also add different things you have handy like a few shreds of carrot, thinly sliced onion, lemon juice instead of vinegar, hot sauce, mayo, chopped olives, etc. Get creative! That's one of the fun things about this woe. It really makes you start experimenting in the kitchen more. | Hi Heather, I actually have this in the fridge marinating to serve with dinner tonight.... 1 med to large cucumber, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch 1 large tomato sliced as thin as you can 1/2 med onion sliced very thin and separated into rings Dressing of your choice (I use Kraft Zesty Italian or mix up a quick vinaigrette) Layer cucumbers, tomatoes and onion in a shallow dish and pour dressing over.
