there is a long thread in the Ongoing Weight loss forum (while I have not read that thread yet - i dont know all what's in it)

but there are 2 different things i've had going on with my legs over the yrs

1) charlie horses - cramping
2) uncomfortableness in my joints, mostly in my hips

one was lack of calcium, the other was lack of potassium

I have found, from personal experience that all of this needs a fine balance in your minerals

when we consume all this water - we are eliminating a lot of the minerals in our system and they need to be replaced

so, while potassium may be of help for one ailment, it may not help the other

charlie horses, muscle spasms - that is a dead give away for lack of calcium

painful joints, hips and knees especially, that is usually a lack of potassium...

I did a lot of research and read quite a few books - plus my own personal experience to figure all of this out

I also try to eat foods high in these minerals so i dont have to take the supplements

hope this helps a lil bit
