I am keeping my carb count under 60g a day (because I am still nursing). Sometimes I get down that I have not done induction yet and maybe I am not doing any good just keeping to 60g.

But, then I crunched the weekly numbers. Before this WOE, I would eat about 350-375g PER DAY of carbs. (Who knows, maybe even more than that!) That comes out to 2,625 to 2,800g per week.

Now, at <60g a day, I am eating 420g of carbs a week.

That HAS to mean something, right?

That's just me, I am a number cruncher. I spend my day tallying up how many grams of carbs I have eaten so far. Anyone else do this?

I used to crunch numbers every which way they could be crunched. I'd calculate the average calories, carbs protein fats and fiber by month and week. Did the same thing with my exercise. Bur since I discovered www.fitday.com i let them do it for me. But I still have to plug in everything I eat. Just remember that a fitday month is 28 days.

Valerie,

Oh, yes! You ARE doing wonderful things for your body and you can see that in the numbers you crunched.
Like you, when I first went on this woe (way of eating), I wasn't sure that I was really eating THAT many less carbs than before. I mean, I don't like pasta and I've never been a big bread fan. But when I sat down and added up a couple of days' menus pre-Atkins I was shocked to see how many carbs I really did eat!
You are doing great!

I'm with Rob here. Fitday is great.

Rob,

Do you mean for reports that fitday's month is 28 days?

Thanks,
